നെഞ്ചോടു ചേര്‍ത്ത്, പാട്ടൊന്നു പാടാം
പാട്ടിന്‍റെ ഈണം നീയാണ്
കാണാതെ കണ്ണില്‍ , അറിയാതെ നെഞ്ചില്‍
വിരിയുന്ന ചിത്രം നീയാണ്
നീ വരൂ, ഈ പാട്ടിന്‍ രാഘമായ്
നീ തരൂ…ഈ ചിത്രം വര്‍ണ്ണമായി..
ഹൃദയം തൂകും പ്രണയം
നല്‍കി ഞാനും നിലാ സന്ധ്യേ..
തിരികെ നനയും മിഴികള്‍
നല്‍കി നീയും എങ്ങു മാഞ്ഞു..
നെഞ്ചോടു ചേര്‍ത്ത്, പാട്ടൊന്നു പാടാം
പാട്ടിന്‍റെ ഈണം നീയാണ്
കാണാതെ കണ്ണില്‍ , അറിയാതെ നെഞ്ചില്‍
വിരിയുന്ന ചിത്രം നീയാണ്
കാണാനായി മോഹങ്ങള്‍ ചിറകടിക്കുമ്പോള്‍
സ്നേഹത്തിന്‍ കാറ്റായി എന്നെ തലോടി
മിഴിയിലെ മൊഴിയിലും നിന്‍ മുഖം മാത്രമായ്
കനവിലെ കണ്ണിലും നിന്‍ നിറം മാത്രം
മായല്ലേ അകലെ അകലെ അകലെ …
നെഞ്ചോടു ചേര്‍ത്ത്, പാട്ടൊന്നു പാടാം
പാട്ടിന്‍റെ ഈണം നീയാണ്..
ചൊല്ലാനായ്  കാവ്യങ്ങള്‍ എഴുതിയതെല്ലാം
നിന്‍ ചുണ്ടില്‍ പൂക്കുന്ന ഹിന്ധോളമായ്
ആഴിയും മാറിയും നിന്‍ സ്വരം മാത്രമേകി
നിനവിലെ നിഴലിലും നിന്‍റെ നിശ്വാസം.
തേടുന്നു അരികില്‍, നീ ഇന്ന് എവിടെ
നെഞ്ചോടു ചേര്‍ത്ത്, പാട്ടൊന്നു പാടാം
പാട്ടിന്‍റെ ഈണം നീയാണ്..
